I have installed Chrome, but it will not launch and hangs.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted but nothing works.

My Neo Z64W doesn't work no more. Power supply is working but nothing happens when i press the power button (no blue light).
This is since i changed the setting in the BIOS -> S5 mode after power fail.
What could i do now?

Z64 No HDMI Sound

No HDMI sound. Driver looks to be OK. I've removed and reinstalled the driver to no effect. This is not a headphone checkbox issue. It is not a volume control issue. All devices and drivers are installed properly. I've swapped HDMI cables, ports in the TV. I've even reset and reinstalled the op sys. No luck. The TV's sound is fine with all other input/outputs.

Ethernet port no available

Hi,

I'm having issues with my Ethernet port. I'm unable to find the network adapter. I searched the device manager, but there is no sign of an
Ethernet adapter.

I can see under the network adapters a wireless and two Bluetooth devices and that's it.

Any suggestions?

NEO Z64 Windows 10 sound problems

Dear all,

Problem looks like this:
- install some music player and connect it via 3.5mm jack to speakers
- music sounds like output is compressed, i.e. quiet music parts are incredibly quiet, while loud ones are really loud

I read that there are a lot issues with this intel sst and realtek i2s outputs.

Any newer drivers than those preinstalled from 2014?

z64w and DTS

Hi,

I would like to use DTS on my windows z64, but I can't seem to get it to work. I can enable dolby surround from the soudoptions, but when I play something from Kodi, it just output dts or atleast dolby. It stays on PCM.

I search the forums but couldn't find a definitive solution for this problem. Does anyone have a solution that works?

Does it work if I flash to android?

Hi

Ive been posting a few times in the android box subfora here but no reply. So trying my luck in the windows box forum.
I want to run a small / cheap vpn server at home. I know windows has a built in vpn server. I want to have it configured such that i can run and reboot my box withou the need of any screen.
- can i configure windows such that it starts the vpn server upon reboot?
- how can i manage my windows box (ie add users, so more ppl can use my vpn service) without the need of...

Hi,
Just got my minix neo z64 with win10. Connected hdmi and power and got a wireless keyboard and mouse - inserted the wireless connector to one of the usb ports and clicked the power button.
I got to a screen with regional settings questions and next button. But the mouse and keyboard not seem to be detected so im stuck - how do i set them up?

H.265 encoded content plays badly

Hi

I have had my Z64 for a couple of years now and have been very happy with it, but recently have found that H.265 content plays very poorly (freezes, stutters, artifacts).

I am running Windows 10, K-Lite codecs and Kodi (though try other players such as VLC and Movies & TV when I encounter playback issues).

Is it the case that the z64 is just not powerful enough for some H.265 content? (I understand the chip set does not support hardware decoding for H.265) or is there a better setup...

Snow screen when wakes up

hello everyone,
last week i've just got my first minix (z64 with win 10) and i'm facing some weird issue...
once in a few times, after my minix wakes up from a good sleep, a blinking snow/black screen shows up and stuck the device (window won't start..)
the only thing that can be done in this case is to plug off/on the power cable.
does someone faced this issue before? can it be fixed ?

Newbie needs help with clean install

I've had my Minix for almost a year now, I tried to do a clean install of Windows 10 after upgrading from 8.1 in the early days but wasn't able to get everything right/make the box boot from a USB (which I was fairly certain I had prepared properly). Since then I have done one more 'reinstall' but doing it from Windows without rebooting which isn't really a clean install.

Last year I got so frustrated after trying to follow instructions on here that I just gave up, I haven't had bluetooth...

I have just received the PC and everything works well apart from no sound from the earphone socket. I cannot solve the problem. Will sound be available via Bluetooth or the HDMI port ?

Hi
I have my minix for about a month. Z64 windows10.

Lase week I was trying to play a 1080p and I was surprised to see it was lagging. Couldn't really see it like this.
Yesterday I tried to watch 720p and the video began to delay (audio and video came out of sync as the movie went).

I also have few WiFi problems. I need to restart the connection from time to time and the router have to be pretty close for good internet (no more than 3-4 meters).

Did anyone encounter any of those problems? Is...

Miracasting to z64

Hi everyone,

I've installed the lastest version of Windows 10 (anniversary update) and there is now the possibility to use the z64 as a miracast receiver.

I try to miracast my Lumia. The z64 is well seen as a miracast receiver. I try to connect, the Z64 prompt me for an autorization to cast my lumia. A window app is lauched saying "The remote lumia is preparing to display" ... and then nothing happens ...

The lumia keeps saying "initiating connection" but nothing happens.

No Multimedia Controller driver found

I recently upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10 and started having issues with my system not long after. It first got stuck in a windows repair cycle then I eventually had to reinstall windows 8.1 but had issues with my sound. I was able to get all drivers working when I upgraded again to Windows 10 but I am still having an issue with the Multimedia Controller driver. I can't get it to update. The microsoft website said I should try the manufacturer.
