Neo z64 screen resolution

Hi everyone, I'm trying to install my neo on an old screen who is not full HD but hd ready.
I can't find the right proportion for my screen, could someone please help me to solve this little problem? (If it's possible )
When I try to change the resolution the minix doesn't give me the one of the TV. ..

Windows 10 Anniversary Update won't install

I have a NEO Z64, which ì upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Currently it runs Windows built 10586 and I have 17,1GB free space.

The Windows 10 Anniversary Update fails. I guess due to not having enough free space. I have a nice 32GB USB stick, but it won't help here.

Any ideas how to install the anniversary update? I have also a spare Windows 10 license which I could use instead.

Blue screen in the insalliton

I have aminix neo z64 with Win 10
after the intallition i updaed the drivers and the system crashed and i got a blue screen.
the erorr massage was "driver overran stack buffer parameters"
what sould i do?

Power button

hello all

I have z64 with windows 10 and all working very good. but when I press power button I got the ctrl+alt+del screen. I want the unit to shut down the windows. I changed the power option to shut down but still it does not work.

Please advice

Stuck on installing windows..

So my minix windows was corrupted and I followed some youtube tutorial on minix on how to format it...

The instructions was pretty clear until I got to this point... when every time I try to fix it it won't boot..
It will say Image typeIA32 is not supported by this X64 shell... Anyone can help me please?

Hi,

How do you fit Windows in to 32 GB? I have a couple of Intel Nuc and Windows takes up about 70 GB. It is possible to get a special verson of Windows 7 to install on a 64 GB drive but its vary tight.

MINIX Z64W - Internet Disconnections

Hey,

I bought Minix Z64w before few month.
The connection to the internet was good, but before few days every 5 min the Internet disconnect.
I try also in direct link by cable and also with wifi.
Just to mention, in the apartment there are more computers that works well without any disconnections.

Kodi shut down problem

Hello everybody, I've just bought Z64W and I have this issue: I'm unable to exit from Kodi (I tried to exit or reboot or shut down and I also tried to wait for several minutes but nothing happens and the only way to go out is to kill the application Kodi with crtl+alt+canc)

I think it's related to Z64W because:
- it doesn't happen with my win10 PC;
- it doesn't happen with my Minix-U1 (android);
- I tried to reset Z64W, install Kodi without any addon, and the problem still occurs!

Z64 constantly freezes when running ubuntu

I'm trying to make ubuntu 15.04 usable on brand new Z64A running JCRDW 1.43 BIOS.
Installation went smooth, but stabillity right after is rather poor - most of the time system won't even boot.

Haven't tried attaching serial console yet to see what's going on, but from dmesg and console printk's it appears to be mmc related.

There are lots of messages like
"mmc got data interrupt even though no data operation was in progress"
in dmesg, and just before freeze this was printed on tty:
"timeout...

Z64 Windows. Possible to downgrade it?

Since the Z64 does have the Windows 10 version installed, the device is less stable.
Also Windows 10 is less stable on other computers..I do not want Windows 10 anymore on every machine.

Is it possible to downgrade the Z64 back to Window 8, the version which was installed when I bought the Z64?
Offcourse I mean the official way which Minix supports.

minix neo z64W - no ethernet adapter in device manager

Hello , first to say that I was using ethernet normally for 2-3 months, then had to switch to wifi and until today when I wanted to use ethernet again. Tried with same cable as before (plus 2 others) and no joy. Then went to network devices and found out that ethernet adapter is missing (only bluetooth and wifi were on the list). It was missing in device manager as well , and no other unknown hardware was reported.

I tried installing new realtek drives and no change. Any suggestions how to...

I saw the Neo z64 was released in November 2015, so now 10 months old. If I want to buy a Minix Windows device to play 1080p MKV from blu-ray and for Netflix streaming, should I wait for the new model?

The site says the new model will be as below, but there is no information for a US release date.

Model - NEO Z83-4
CPU - Intel Atom X5-Z8300
GPU - Intel HD Graphics
RAM - 4GB DDR3L

Greetings everyone. Here's my first contribution to this forum. Pretty much what the thread title says. After this week's windows update, the blue led stays on after shutting down z64w. I then have to keep the power button pressed for about 10 seconds until it shuts down properly. Anyone?

Can't configure the sound to 5.1 chanels.

Hi,

I have my new z64w and I'm very happy with it, it is my 3 Minix!

My device is connected to my TV with HDMI and my TV is outputting the sound to my reciver.

I didn't manage to configure the sound out of the Minix for 5.1, The only option that I see in the south options is stereo.

What is the solution?

Memory in Kodi

Hi when looking in Kodi at memory then hardware it only shows as having 1990mb yet on when back on Windows in system it shows about 10gb available why is this not showing in Kodi?
