SD card problem

Hello I have a minix NEO Z64 -W
It's updated to windows 10 and running perfectly
I just tried to use an SD card and can't get it to be reconized
The unit doesn't know it's there and wondered if you have a driver or any information on how to make this pc respond to this SD card please
Or any ifeas why it won't work it's the correct way around and pushed home to it clicks and locks. The USB ports working fine tho so no prob there

Hello
I have Minix neo Z64w, when I turn it on it shows me mode: preparing the installation,
After about ten minutes the device entered the password screen, I type the password and then get a dark screen and only the mouse cursor appears.
help please....

Hi, i would like to use my ps3 gamepad as a controller using the Z64W and using it by emulators (es. EmulationStation)

I've searched for some tutorials but I think it could be useful a step by step guide, for all of us.

NEO z64 no dispaly, can't detect HDMI

Hello,
My NEO Z64 would not display after turning on.

I can still see the blue light after pressing the power button, but nothing shows up on the screen, not even the MINIX welcome screen. I tried 3 different HDMI cables and not luck. Also tried resetting the Minix by pressing the little hole at the back of the case - still no luck getting anything on the screen.

Does anybody know how to resolve this problem?

Weird network issue

Hi community,
I have a weird network issue with my Neo Z64w.
When I leave the Minix up and running for the night and kodi is running too, the next day I find that the network loses it's Internet connection (yellow sign on the network icon).
the only way to resolve is to disconnect the cable then reconnect it.
I tried to update the driver and it didn't help.
Next I attached Ethernet-to-USB adapter and it occurs on it too!
I have updated all latest BIOS and OS updates to no avail.

Hi All,

Is there anyone of you have successfully sysprepped a Minix box without any issues?

basically i am planning to deploy minix as a Thinclient solution for Remote Desktop and Citrix for users.

Appreciate your suggestion and/or best practice building your sysprepped image.

Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO MISSING

I have no wireless network adapter on my list.
In Device Manager under Network Adapters only lists Realtek USB FE Family Controller
System Devices lists Realtek Bluetooth UART Bus Driver
devices status CODE 10
status_device_power_failure

It is missing the Bluetooth and Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO
I resfresh and clean windows to new. Then checked and still no wireless network adapter.

i currently have the z64w and really am missing dolby digital. I was thinking of buying an external soudcard for the optical connection. Does anyone have any experience with this on the z64w?


if so, what card do you recommend?

Hi,

I have my new z64w and I'm very happy with it, it is my 3 Minix!

My device is connected to my TV with HDMI and my TV is outputting the sound to my reciver.

I didn't manage to configure the sound out of the Minix for 5.1, The only option that I see in the south options is stereo.

What is the solution?

HD Audio passthrough

Hi,

Has the HD passthrough issue been solved running Win10 ?

Updated all driver and if I use WASAPI and enable all HD Audio codecs in Kodi, but get no sound.

Sound strange that this has been an issue for about 2 years without getting in fixed.

Running kodi 17 on my Z64W.

Extremely impressed. User interface very modern, artwork decent, useability much improved

A very professional looking offering.

It will impress a lot of users I think.

I understand that the remote won't work, but does that mean the integrated IR is totally useless? Is there a way I can use it to configure a universal remote, etc. for use with Kodi? It's odd that I would need to purchase an IR...

I have a z64 system that I just bought. Long story short, I used the box and everything was fine. It wanted to install an update to Windows 10. I ran out of time and had to pull the plug on it. Now that I have time, it will not install any windows updates. I have fdisked and reformatted the system. I have installed Windows10 x64. Now, not all of the devices, like wifi & audio are being detected. Questions:

I'm trying to reinstall windows 10 on my minix after borking a previous update. Right now, no matter what setting I put into the bios, it always wants to boot from the hard disk where Windows is currently installed. I have tried to boot from the DVD I have for Windows 10. I have tried to boot from the USB drive I have of Windows 10. I have made the boot priority setting to be my USB DVD drive in the bios, but it will never boot from it. I have opened up the new Z64 sections.
I will add the subforums sometime tomorrow when I have the time.
For the time being here are a few answers to questions that will likely be asked.

- It is NOT possible to dualboot between Android and Windows. There will be no official work put in to make that happen.

- It is technically possible to switch from Android to Windows but it is a complicated task and will NOT be encouraged or officially supported by MINIX so please do not ask...
